Biography

Giannina Boggio Noya de Vicich was born and raised in Peru. She had a successful career in real estate. When her husband died, she decided to dedicate her time to helping to improve the lives of children living in Puno; she founded Asociacion Angeles de la Caridad y la Musica. The organization provides scholarships, supplies, and funds music programs. In 2012, Giannina contacted a team of US based physicians and invited them to come to Peru. In 2013, a team of 14 people, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and volunteers came and performed cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries on 45 children. Each year, the team has returned and operated on more children.
