Biography

With 13 years experience as a street educator, coordinator and director of Melel Xojobal and 6 in the design, implementation and evaluation of education projects with indigenous children and youth. She has participated in national and international forums, conferences and workshops on this topic. She has worked with children and youth at risk on a diverse range of topics to do with education, health, peace and human rights. She has also implemented and supervised projects to do with education, research and communication with indigenous children and youth through participation with networks at the local, state, national and international level. She has university education with 2 diplomas to do with education and human rights.
