Biography

Lauren Perry serves as the Executive Director of The Beautiful Foundation. In May 2012 she received her B.A. in Theatre Arts with a minor in Business Administration from Loyola University New Orleans. As a teen, Lauren had participated in The Beautiful Foundation’s programs and throughout her college years, she continued to serve as a mentor for the organization. In 2014, she began working for The Beautiful Foundation while attemptingt to start her own career. The only dilemma was that The Beautiful Foundation was in the process of dissolving. This was devastating to Lauren as she struggled to watch the organization, one that played such an incredible impact on her life, begin to dissolve. Unwilling to let go of her commitment to the community, Lauren inquired about taking on the role of executive director. In early 2015, Lauren’s wish was granted. Under her leadership, The Beautiful Foundation has leading the charge and impacting the lives of young women in her city!
