Biography

Lydia Gandaa, Co-Director or Bubble & Squeak takes lead on planning and managing of the after school club session for local children in East Acton which run in tandem and compliment the bi weekly surplus Food Stall which supports this highly deprived area. With an organization which only started in 2018, the Directors and team have managed to grow the project to be one of the main hubs in the local neighborhood. Alongside this role Lydia is also the art coordinator at the local primary school, as a part time role which complements her community arts hat. Lydia also has a passion for community development and inspiring the locality to be responsible for making their locality a better place. Hence the launch of Bubblesqueakeat CIC (Bubble & Squeak).
