Biography

Patrice Millet was a successful Haitian entrepreneur prior to contracting cancer in 2006. A year after this life changing experience, he started Fondaps to give meaning to his life. A passionate soccer coach, a patriot and family man, he decided to use his skills to empower youth. Starting out with a couple of soccer balls, he took to the fields of Solino, a notorious ghetto of the capital, and started working with a couple of kids sporadically. Since then, Fondaps has evolved to a structured after-school program. This program became a full-scale soccer school and has directly benefitted more than 700 children.
