Biography

Seid Aman is a Local Hero in the Sinana District of Ethiopia and is the leader of the Ethiopia team and Country Representative for imagine1day. After receiving Masters Degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Addis Ababa, Seid started managing the strategic planning, implementation, and successful completion of many diverse projects of both local and international NGOs working in Ethiopia. From alternative and vocational education, water and sanitation, HIV/AIDS, to child rights and women’s empowerment projects, Seid draws on his philosophy and talent to establish close working relationships with all involved, motivating and empowering groups to work together in creating sustainable, positive change. 

In his role at imagine1day, Seid ensures each partner community achieves their goals through a culture of open communication and complete transparency. Seid is thrilled to be at the helm of an organization that shares his dedication to education and sustainable livelihoods. GO has partnered with imagine1day to help with the comprehensive educational system the organization is working to establish.
