Biography

Neha and Vikas were born and raised in India and felt compelled to do something to help disadvantaged youth. They joined Teach for India in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Neha was placed in a primary school in Mumbai and Vikas taught in Pune. They both realized that they could use soccer to motivate and help their students excel in the classroom. They started organizing teams and tournaments and at the end of their TFI, they launched Just for Kicks. In the last five years, they have seen soccer revolutionize the lives of children and positively impact entire school systems. Currently, Just For Kicks works in four cities of India (Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore) impacting 2300 children from 50 government and private schools.
