Launch a Mentorship Program for Female Teachers in Afghanistan
$14,760 | Rural Afghanistan
GO Campaign’s trusted partner HESSO has proposed an impactful addition to their program supporting female educators and students in Afghanistan’s rural communities. This three-month mentoring initiative will engage three experienced female university faculty members to mentor nine young female teachers in Kabul, Wardak, and Baghlan provinces. Together, they will reach approximately 270 students this winter, focusing on essential subjects like science, agriculture, and climate education. Designed to run during the school winter break, this program allows skilled female educators, currently sidelined due to government restrictions, to share vital teaching techniques with young rural teachers eager to enhance their skills.
With a modest budget of $12,300, HESSO will also provide in-kind support to these teachers, covering their basic needs and materials to sustain the program, as often times they must pay the teachers in goods, rather than money to avoid government suspicions. Your donation will have a direct, transformative effect—empowering female educators, enhancing education in underserved areas, and providing support to struggling families. Please join us in making this valuable initiative a reality for these communities.
